silver niello salt and pepper - Russia
this is a couple of silver hexagonal salt and pepper shakers fully decorated with Assyrian motifs. Both
shakers bears 84 hallmark on the bottom and were made in Russia or, more probably, in Asian Russia or Persia.The shakers are 1 3/4 in. high (cm. 4) and were bought from an US dealer through the Internet.
This item is not for sale, but most of my pieces were bought through the Internet. On the right bar of this page there are some links to websites of silver and antique dealers
