repoussé silver bon bon dish - Germany

repoussé silver
German
bon bon dish this is a silver repoussé bon bon dish made in Germany between the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century.
The bowl on the center is embossed with four cherubs surrounded by an intricated pierced edge.
The dish is a typical example of German silvermithing of this period and is hallmarked with '800' and 'half-moon and crown'.
The dish is 5 in. (cm. 12,5) across and was bought from an U.K. dealer through the Internet.

This item is not for sale, but most of my pieces were bought through the Internet. On this page there are some links to silver and antique dealers websites
