prayer's book with silver cover - Italy
this little prayer's book is entitled "Tributi al cielo" (Tributes to heaven). It has a leather cover with a silver plate representing the Madonna with the Child and was printed in Bergamo (Italy) in 1910.
The silver plate was made by the famous Italian silversmith Miracoli - Milano.
The book is written in Italian and has rich illustrations in "art nouveau" style.
It is 4 x 3 1/2 in. (cm. 10 x 8) and was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique Fair.
