silver milk creamer - France
this is a silver empire milk creamer of vase shape, raised on four paw feet headed by palmettes, the handle with a ram's head at the base.
It was made in France in the 2nd half of 19th century.
The creamer is hallmarked with "Minerva" (corresponding to 950/1000 for French silver) and wild boar head on the handle (800/1000 silver) and is 6 1/2 in. high (cm. 16).
The creamer was bought at an Antiques auction in Italy.
This item is not for sale, but most of my pieces were bought through the Internet. On the right bar of this page there are some advertisings of websites of silver and antique dealers
