silver baby rattle - Italy
this is a silver ' pear shape' baby rattle embossed with floral and flower motifs of 'Art Nouveau'
taste and the dedication 'Bébe'. It was made in Italy at the beginning of the 20th century, and is hallmarked with '800' (800/1000 silver) and the 'punzone del fascio' (maker 3 VC).
The rattle is 2 1/4 in. long (cm. 6) and was bought from an Italian dealer at an Antique Fair.
