Nuremberg antique silver salt cellar with dolphin support this silver salt cellar has anthemion and acanthus decorated top rim. The cup is raised on a dolphin, with scrolling leaf-detailed tail resting on a circular base. The hallmarks belongs to Nuremberg, circa 1769/1773.
The salt cellar is 2 3/4 in. high (cm. 7) and was bought from an US dealer through the Internet.
